Magic Points are a resource often required for casting spells and using other magic abilities on game servers. Using the default classic system, the GScript variable playermp is used to read, edit and otherwise manipulate MP, however, this variable is mostly deprecated these days.

If it is > 0, you have a nifty magic points bar among the status stuff, assuming you are on a Playerworld which uses the default status system.
