A tag is any sort of text that appears after the player's name, but is not part of it. Official [[[tag|tags]] are bound within parentheses, but players have been known to add tags of their own using curly braces, or square brackets. This often results in some extremely strange (and laughable) names, such as: SSJ Brolly Strife {DBZ Buddies} {SSJ Level 4} [lookig 4 gf].

Official Staff members of Graal Online have tags which describe their position. These range from the (Events Team) and the (FAQ Team), to other staff such as the (PWA) and (GST).

The most common use of tags is for guild identification. Once a player creates a guild, all members are allowed to place the tag after their name. This identifies them as guild members, and lets everyone else know of their allegiance to their guild, such as the (Baddies).
