Madj Forum Giveaway

From Graal Bible

This has been made for the education of those who still believe it is perfectly legal to use Atrius images, and have not looked at the globals final post on this matter on the forums. This is solely for the education to the graal development population, and not in any way entitled to deem harm or slander to MadJ, Atrius, or any servers involved in the MadJ Forum Giveaway.

The MadJ Forum Giveaway was a content forum giveaway of Atrius images around 2006-2007. This was to destroy James, who at the time was attempting to make Atrius prosper. It was a forum post, that had an attachment of many images that MadJ had made for Atrius through the years. After the forum giveaway, many servers rushed to copy atrius, making horrible attempts at creating custom bodies, using Atrius content and then laughing, and so on.

After a while, James got a bit angry about this, and since he was the current owner of Atrius, and Atrius had just went hosted for its first time (and taken off as well), James brought the issue up to a few global staff members (Ibonic & Houdiniman).

Later in the year, after a rumored 50 servers used Atrius content (Including managers who did not see what limited this content, and stole sounds, levels, scripts, and ganis), including known servers such as Era, Aeon and Graal X.

After the two global staff members reasoned out all of this, since it was getting too far out of hand, they revoked the power of MadJ giving away this content. Though argued, some say globals looked at MadJ as a person just trying to lash out at James out of pure jealousy due to him always taking Atrius one way or another, and making it better then Madj had previously made it. Others claim it was because MadJ didn't believe James should own Atrius because of his known corruption.

After the Forum Giveaway was revoked, only about 10 servers used any Atrius content, and after 2007, most were forced to remove it after being reported.

It is now currently illegal to use any Atrius images on any server other then Atrius without the owners permission beforehand.
