AP

From Graal Bible

AP is a Graal-wide abbreviation for Alignment Points; this is a scale from zero to one hundred which indicates how good, or bad, a player is. Every time you kill another player (except in a spar zone), your AP drops, and it takes time to regenerate. You see your alignment points in a small bar placed by the MP bar: other players see your AP by the colour of your name. Players with 0 AP have a black name, 25 a reddish color, 50 white, 75 blue, and 100 gold, with variances in between. Players with below 40 AP cannot be healed by normal means, and players with 100 AP cannot be harmed by swords.

Some worlds offer "Name Colour Changers" which modify the player's AP rapidly to give a colour effect similar to a rainbow as the player's name changes colour rapidly from red to gold. Other worlds fix the AP of all their staff at 100. As such, AP is not the reliable measure it once was, but can be used to quickly size up a prospective opponent.

NOTE: When making such a "Name Color Changer," remember that AP should be changed serverside. If done clientside, the AP in some cases will no longer be able to be controlled.
