Graal root directory
Introduction
The Graal root directory is the path used to save all game files and the executable program used to launch the Graal Client and is often referred to as the 'Graal Folder'.
Finding the root directory
The root directory for Graal is different for each Operating System according to the filesystem.
Windows
On Windows the common path for the Graal root directory on Windows XP and lower is 'C:/Program Files/Graal'. On Vista and above, the common path is '~/Graal' (inside the current user's user folder—the full path may be 'C:/Users/Your Account/Graal'). The path can be changed on all Windows operating systems.
Linux
On Linux and Mac systems the Graal root directory path is '~/.graal/graal4'.
OS X
Graal v5 or earlier
On Mac OS X systems running Graal v5 or earlier, the Graal root directory path is '~/.graal/graal4'. To access this directory on OS X, from the Finder menu bar select "Go" then "Go to folder".
Graal v6 and later
On Mac OS X systems running Graal v6 or later, the Graal root directory path is '~/Library/Application Support/Graal'. To access this directory on OS X, from the Finder menu bar select "Go" then "Go to folder".
