Talk:MMORPG
I disagree with this edit. I grant that 'online RPG' is ambiguous, but nobody claimed that the two terms were identical. And the persistence of the world is just a product of the massively multiplayer-ness. I don't think it needs to be examined in detail.<br\> Personally, I would at most point out that there are other, non-MM games that could also qualify as 'online RPG's, and that the term is thus fuzzy. Kai, are you saying that whoever's (dont feel like searching to see who made it originally) comment that online rpg is identical (the comment that some people just call it an online rpg, but let's face it, they have a point)? My edit is very accurate, one example (of the second type of "online rpg", where it just means one capable of going online) is baldur's gate, where you just do the singlke player mode with a few players. That is nothing like an MMORPG. As for the first one, there aren't any huge ones, but just sdearch for "online rpg" and you'll find a few singleplayer ones.<br\> Falco10291029
