Player owned Property, or POP, is a central point in [[Ardeo]]'s economy. As the name describes, POP is a collection of locations and structures that a player can own.
=Available Player Owned Property=
*Houses
*Shops
*Ships
*Islands
*Holds
*Farmland
==Property Add-ons/Furniture==
POP can be filled with furniture, ranging from functional items like tables, chairs, and counters, to decorative items likes flowerpots and paintings, but also storage items like chests, crates, barrels, and cupboards. These items can be acquired by crafting, trade, or adventuring. Items will also be available for Averus. (See the Cash Shop document for more details)
For POP players can also buy extensions. Depending on the POP, these extensions can take various shape, and players who own property will be given a list with options by the World Designer staff.
=Rules on Player Owned Property.=
*1. Property can be locked for everyone without a key, by anyone with a key.
*2. Doors to personal property are indestructible to prevent property harassment.
*3. Players are free to trade property keys, but scamming players in or out of their property is something that ruins the game, therefore forbidden.
* 4. Objects in the property can be stolen or destroyed if the property isn’t properly locked. This rule also applies to NPC houses, the script will at random assign a house that is to be unlocked. NPCs will have a wealth factor, placed on the owner of a house, which defines how long it takes for the stolen/broken object to be replaced.
* 5. One room in the property is always safe, if the property only has one room, this room is safe from theft and destruction.
*6. If pre-owned property becomes available, all contents will stay in the property while it is being repossessed.
NOTE: These rules are for the global server, not the specific countries. For more information on nation laws, read about [[Ardeo/Legislation|Legislation]].
